With Harvey relief still weighting on Houstonians' minds, here are some events to enjoy while benefiting those in need this weekend, Sept. 7-10.

Goo Goo Dolls with Phillip Phillips
Sept. 7
The Goo Goo Dolls and Phillip Phillips will perform in The Woodlands while simultaneously hosting a donation drive to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Donors can drop items off at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s front gates from 3-7:30 p.m. The performing musicians will be outside to assists with donation collections from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All donations and 100 percent of merchandise sales will go to the Houston Food Bank. The venue cannot accept baby food, clothing or household items, but will accept food, toiletries, diapers and cleaning supplies. Donors will be presented with a voucher for a $20 ticket for the show, and first responders and their families can attend the concert for free. 7:30 p.m. (concert starts). $39.50-$89.50 (regular ticket prices). St. Arnold is teaming up with craft breweries around the country for Hurricane Harvey relief. Participating breweries will donate $1 per tint of beer sold throughout the day to the Houston Food Bank. The Sweet Silver Song: A Benefit Concert for Victims of Harvey
Sept. 9
Opera in the Heights will present a free concert to raise funds for Hurricane Harvey victims. The opera is partnering with the Greater Houston Community Foundation and Baker Ripley, the Houston-based nonprofit coordinating volunteer efforts at NRG Stadium. 3 p.m. Free. Oktoberfest Houston Kickoff Party

Although this event is free to the public, attendees are highly encouraged to bring monetary or item donations. Items most needed include peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, instant potatoes, pancake mix, syrup, boxed meals and sides, canned meals, toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, shampoo and razors. 6 p.m. Free.
