The Mary Pat Case Municipal Pool has reopened as of July 10 following a temporary closure announced July 5 for a repair, according to Shenandoah Communication Specialist Debbie Pilcher.

Pilcher said the staff is still waiting on the part to be replaced, however they were able to reopen the pool today as planned and are operating the pool by hand. Pool Director Woody Crosby said once the part is delivered, they plan to replace it during the morning before the pool opens to avoid having to close the pool again in the near future.

“We are good for right now and will re-evaluate as we try out," Crosby said.

For information about future possible closures, residents are encouraged to monitor Shenandoah's Facebook page and website.
