Updated Jan. 15 at 5:31 p.m.: Officials with the Texas Patriots PAC have announced that tomorrow's forum will be postponed due to a winter weather advisory in the area tomorrow afternoon and evening. A new date has not yet been announced.   

Posted Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m. Ahead of the March 6 primary elections, a number of political organizations are hosting forums to give voters a chance to get to know candidates in local races.

The Texas Patriots PAC will host a forum Jan. 16 in The Woodlands with Republican candidates for two races in Montgomery County: county judge and Precinct 2 county commissioner. Candidates will answer varying questions on county and local issues.

Montgomery County judge candidates:

Montgomery County Precinct 2 commissioner candidates:
Charlie Riley*
Greg Parker
Brian Dawson

Democratic candidates for both races are uncontested and will advance to the the November elections.

The event will be held 6 p.m. at The Woodlands Financial Group Training Room, 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive, Ste. 4020, The Woodlands. While the event is open to the public, PAC officials have said event seating is limited. The event will also be streamed live via Facebook. For more information, visit www.texaspatriotspac.com.
