Cinepolis The Woodlands announced July 31 that it has reopened following a four-month closure due to coronavirus.

To celebrate the reopening, Cinepolis The Woodlands General Manager Amy Zell said there will be a mix of classic movies being shown throughout the week as well as newer releases such as "The Rental." Classic movies will be $5; on-demand releases will be full price at $12.50.

The theater is currently only able to operate at 50% capacity, Zell said, so in order to accommodate the changes, parties must keep two seats between them. Cash is not being accepted within the theaters, so patrons wishing to use cash may purchase gift cards at the box office. All guests are required to wear a mask as well.

Cinepolis The Woodlands was required to close March 17 due to state mandates. The theater, located at 26543 Kuykendahl Road, Tomball, officially opened Nov. 29, 2019.
