Among the Saturday morning vendors at The Woodlands Farmer’s Market at Grogan’s Mill is the unique stand Waffle Daddy, where customers can buy authentic liege waffles made with pearl sugar.

“These liege-style waffles have never really made it to America until just a few years ago,” owner Frank Galindo said. “They’re so different from the waffles we are used to eating; they are smaller and sweeter.”

The stand is set up as a waffle bar where patrons can layer the $7 waffles with unlimited toppings, including whipped cream, Nutella, fresh seasonal fruits and many other items.

Waffle Daddy also sells flavored lattes and mochas to top off its breakfast lineup. Since the closing of the Spring store in October, the business has focused primarily on attending The Woodlands Farmer’s Market every Saturday as well as catering for a number of different events around the area.
