The Woodlands and surrounding areas are offering a variety of events to take part in this weekend. Here are a few to consider adding to your calendar.
1.Friday-Sunday: Inspire Film Festival
The Inspire Film Festival will take over The Woodlands United Methodist Church, Cinemark 17 and the Market Street Cinemark throughout the weekend showcasing 10 different films with accompanying special guests and live entertainment. The films were selected based on their ability to enlighten as well as entertain audiences and are all shot in unique locations around the world.
Films will be shown Friday from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday from 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. $20 (single ticket), $50 (four-pack kindle pass).

2. Friday-Sunday: My Fair Lady
This musical follows the story of Henry Higgins, a professor of phonetics, and his quest to turn Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl, into a duchess. Presented by Stage Right, this weekend marks the last opportunity for theatergoers to see the show. 8 p.m. (Feb. 24-25) 2 p.m. (Feb. 26). $15-$22. Crighton Theatre, 234 N. 3. Saturday: Fitness Frenzy
The Woodlands Children’s Museum will be hosting this event in order to teach children about health and exercise. Children will learn about blow flow in a 13 foot heart, Villa Sports will explain the importance of physical activity and Republic Ambulance will demonstrate the parts of their vehicle.
Guests will also include TCBY Panther Creek, Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen and World Class Tae Kwon Do. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. $6. The Woodlands Children’s Museum, 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Ste. 280, The Woodlands. 281-465-0955.

4. Saturday: Terrain Racing
Friends and family can complete obstacles and participate in a 5K or 10K race at this event. Kids as young as 7 years old can participate in the 5K race as well. Races have mud and more than 20 obstacles; showers will also be available.
Participants will also get a t-shirt, finisher medal and bib, photos from the course and beverages. 8 a.m.-4 p.m. $60 (5K), $65 (10K) $30 (Mini Monkey race). Bel-Ray Action Sports Park, 15100 I-45 S., Conroe.
