Neal's Restaurant will reopen in one month with a new owner.[/caption]

After closing in February, Neal’s Restaurant on FM 2920 in Spring will reopen for business with the former cook and kitchen manager Hector Grimaldo at the helm as owner and Teresa Cook as manager.

Some of Neal’s Restaurant’s original recipes will remain on the menu, including chicken-fried steak, pork steak, beef tips, meatloaf and the plate lunch, which features meat and two vegetables and dessert.

Cook estimates the restaurant will open within one month with hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sat. and closed on Sundays.

“[We] will continue to offer the good, home-cooked country meals with a friendly, homely atmosphere that the restaurant is known for,” Cook said.
