Results are coming in from contested Republican and Democratic March 6 primaries, which has already made headlines for seeing much higher engagement from Democratic party voters compared to previous years.

Here are the results of the races that affect Pearland and Friendswood residents in our readership area. Results for races that cross county lines (such as state and U.S. representatives) include total statewide votes for the race. The winners of these races will go on to represent their party in the general election in November.
