Walgreens reopened its Kingwood location that had flood damage during Harvey on Oct. 17. The store, which is located at 4445 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, in the Town Center development, was one of the first major retailers to re-open at the intersection of Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway, a retail and restaurant-heavy area that was inundated with flooding. 281-360-4694. www.walgreens.com

Sanké Hairdressers Kingwood, which originally opened in April, took on 4 feet of water during Harvey. Services include men’s and women’s haircuts, coloring, balayage, blowouts, highlights and aromatherapy scalp massages. Country Inn & Suites by Carlson at 20611 Hwy. 59, Humble, took on 12 feet of water during Hurricane Harvey. The hotel’s first floor was a total loss. After flood damage pushed back the opening date, Memorial Hermann plans to open its 45,000-square-foot convenient care center within mixed-use development Main Street Kingwood in summer 2018.
