Fort Bend County's election results website reports that 65 out of 65 vote centers have reported their results as of 7:40 a.m. July 16.
Both the Fort Bend County Republican and Democratic parties announced winners shortly after 1 p.m. July 15 on Facebook. Results are unofficial until canvassed.
Fort Bend County sheriff Democratic candidates
The Fort Bend County Democratic Party announced Erica Fagan is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent Geneane Hughes. Fagan will face Republican Trever J. Nehls in November.
The county states 96.25% of precincts have reported for this race.
Fagan received 19,360 votes, or 50.03%.
Hughes received 19,334 votes, or 49.97%.
Fort Bend County attorney Democratic candidates
The Fort Bend County Democratic Party announced Bridgette Smith-Lawson is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent Sonia Rash. Smith-Lawson will face Republican Steve Rogers in November.
The county states 96.25% of precincts have reported for this race.
Smith-Lawson received 25,181 votes, or 64.86%.
Rash received 13,642 votes, or 35.14%.
Fort Bend County tax assessor-collector Republican candidates
The Fort Bend County Republican Party announced James Pressler is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent J.J. Clemence. Pressler will face Democrat Carmen Turner in November.
The county states 90% of precincts have reported for this race.
Pressler received 22,733 votes, or 58.75%.
Clemence received 15,959 votes, or 41.25%.
State Rep. District 26 Democratic candidates
The Fort Bend County Democratic Party announced L. "Sarah" DeMerchant is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent Suleman Lalani. DeMerchant will face Jacey Jetton, a candidate in the Republican primary runoff, in the November election.
The county states 100% of precincts have reported for this race.
DeMerchant received 4,552 votes, or 52.35%.
Lalani received 4,143 votes, or 47.65%.
State Rep. District 26 Republican candidates
The Fort Bend County Republican Party announced Jetton is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent Matt Morgan. Jetton will face DeMerchant, a candidate in the Democratic primary runoff, in the November election.
The county states 100% of precincts have reported for this race.
Jetton received 7,526 votes, or 52.39%.
Morgan received 6,840 votes, or 47.61%.
Railroad commissioner, Democratic candidates
The Fort Bend County Democratic Party announced Chrysta Castañeda is the unofficial winner of the primary against opponent Roberto R. "Beto" Alonzo. Castañeda will face Republican Ryan Sitton in November.
The county states 96.25% of precincts have reported for this race.
Castañeda has received 22,454 votes, or 58.8%
Alonzo has received 15,735 votes, or 41.2%.
Update 8:08 a.m. July 15
At 11:10 p.m. July 14, Fort Bend County released another update with totals for various Republican and Democrat primary runoff races. The update still states that none of 65 vote centers are reporting results.
A close race is occurring between the Democratic candidates for Fort Bend County sheriff.
With 96.25% of precincts reporting, Eric Fagan received 19,360 votes, or 50.03%, while Geneane Hughes received 19,334 votes, or 49.97%. The winner of the race will face Republican Trever J. Nehls in November. The previous county sheriff, Troy Nehls, unofficially won the Republican primary runoff for U.S. Rep. District 22 against Kathaleen Wall.
Below are the results for five other races in Fort Bend County. Winners of the races will return to the ballot for the Nov. 3 general election as the nominee for their party. Results are unofficial until canvassed.

However, the county notes that 100% of precincts have reported for the state Rep. District 26 Republican and Democratic primaries.
Democrat L. "Sarah" DeMerchant is the unofficial winner of the primary runoff with 3,617 votes, or 53.25% of this race. She ran against candidate Suleman Lalani, who received received 3,175 votes, or 46.75%
Republican Jacey Jetton received 6,172 votes, or 51.71%, making him the unofficial winner against opponent Matt Morgan, who received 5,764 votes, or 48.29% in the Republican primary for state Rep. District 26.
