Board members approved a proposal by unanimous vote for the construction of a new elementary school at their April 24 meeting.

The school will be the 41st elementary school in Katy ISD, according to district documents. The board will purchase a 13-acre property from NASH FM 529 LLC with a total acquisition cost not to exceed $1,557,270. The original design allocation of $850,000 for the school was passed as part of the 2014 district bond.
