The Dance Factory[/caption]

The Dance Factory launched its second location today at 17810 Mueschke Road, Cypress, inside of the Cypress Oaks Church. The original family-owned dance studio has been around for 23 years on FM 529 in Houston. Its classes, which are offered to students ages 2 through teen, include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and technique.

Director Tara Carpenter said the FM 529 studio has been doing really well, but the new Cypress location will allow them to cater to the large influx of families moving to that area. Many of the students coming to FM 529 already live near the new location, she said.

“We are excited to serve these families and to be expanding in an area that is growing [so fast],” Carpenter said.
