Rosie Cannonball, a European eatery by Goodnight Hospitality, opened Aug. 29 at 1620 Westheimer Road. The restaurant features a wood-burning grill and oven, and a menu offering original breads and pizzas, vegetable and meat dishes, as well as curated wines and cocktails. www.rosiecannonball.com

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation opened a new location of its Out of the Closet Thrift Store at 1435 Westheimer Road, Houston, on Aug. 24.
