Oct. 14: Bridgeland Birthday Bash


Bridgeland celebrates its 10-year anniversary with food trucks, bounce houses, rock wall climbing, fireworks and live music from The Molly Ringwalds. The first 1,000 visitors will receive a free gift and a chance to win an iPhone 7. Adults will have access to a beer and wine garden. Oct. 14-15: Playhouse 1960 presents “Blithe Spirit


Noel Coward’s comic play focuses on novelist Charles Condomine, who invites an eccentric clairvoyant to conduct a seance in hopes of gaining material for a new project. However, his plan goes awry when the ghost of his ex-wife makes an appearance and attempts to disrupt his new marriage. Oct. 14-15: Camp Hope barbecue cook-off fundraiser


The PTSD Foundation of America hosts the fifth annual fundraiser featuring a barbecue cook-off, free food, live music, silent auctions and activities for children.
