Jaxton’s Grill House & Bar officially closed its doors in late March at 9955 Barker Cypress Road, Ste. 104, Cypress. Owner Jason Howard made the announcement via Facebook, also announcing his plans to open a new venture called Five Central this summer at 2736 Virginia St., Houston.
Since opening nearly three years ago, the Boardwalk at Towne Lake eatery served pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, soups, salads, seafood, steaks and weekend brunch. According to Howard, Five Central will offer fine dining and entertainment including craft cocktails, live music, a wine lounge, dinner theater and a private cigar club.
