Photography open house

The North West Houston Photography Club is hosting an open house at St. John Lutheran Church to showcase over 200 images, including street portraits, architecture, fauna and flora, Texas themes, and more.

Reach for the Stars Luncheon

Jersey Village Brewfest

Several breweries from the region will offer beer tastings at the inaugural Jersey Village Brewfest at Delozier Park. Attendees can also enjoy food and music. Children ages 7 and up can enjoy a free movie night at the Jersey Village Civic Center while their parents enjoy the festival.Saturday Sidewalk Sale

The Door Store will host a weekly sidewalk sale every Saturday in October. The store, along with other vendors, will sell rustic wrought iron furniture and decor, antique doors and hardware.Good Shepherd Church pumpkin patch

The front lawn of the church will transform into a pumpkin patch and will have multiple activities throughout October for families to enjoy, including storytelling and reading activities for kids, fall-themed photo backgrounds, face painting and pumpkins available for purchase. On Oct. 27, the church will hold a concert in the patch along with trunk or treat.

Cypress-Tomball Democrats meeting




The Cypress-Tomball Democrats will hold its monthly meeting at the Lakewood Residents Club. Guest speakers include Derek Kelly, chief of staff for the Harris County Democratic Party, and Evan Choate, the county’s Victory 2024 Campaign Director. There will be a food truck on-site where attendees can purchase dinner.

Cypress Methodist Church pumpkin patch

Cypress Methodist Church hosts its annual pumpkin patch this fall, offering photo opportunities and pumpkins for purchase. Proceeds benefit youth and children’s programming, community outreach and mission projects, and the pumpkin patch’s operational expenses.
