The 23rd annual Cy-Fair ISD Livestock Show & Sale kicks off at 8 a.m. this Thursday at the CFISD Exhibit Center, 11206 Telge Road, Cypress. Last year, the community gave students a total of $905,562 through the event's premium sale, freezer sale and additional donations. Students from all district high schools will participate in the event. Approximately 650 student exhibitors and 850 student projects and animals will be exhibited and judged over three days. “We are looking forward to another great show and sale,” said Denise Kubecka, lead curriculum coordinator in the career and technical education department. “Students have been spending hours preparing their projects for competition. It is hard not to get caught up in the excitement when you see the students in their blue and gold FFA official dress showing off their projects.” A schedule of different showings throughout the three-day event can be found below:
