HCA Houston Healthcare opened the new Fallbrook 24/7 Emergency Room at 13338 Hwy. 249, Houston, on May 1. The new full-service ER provides a full range of emergency and outpatient services for adults and children.
HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest CEO Scott Davis said the facility celebrated its grand opening as a new health care resource to meet the needs of the growing area. Davis said it adds a new nine-bed facility to the area and will function as a regular HCA Houston Hospital ER. Physicians and staff have experience working in high-volume emergency rooms.
“It provides a great high-level healthcare resource close to home. The facility allows for easy accessibility, not only for the patients who live in the community who walk up, but for EMS as well, who bring in critical patients in need of urgent emergency care,” he said in an emailed statement. “It allows us to accept them really quickly and get them back on the road to go help other individuals. I think it's going to be a great asset for the community.”
