With all votes tallied Saturday night, both incumbents are expected to hold their seats in the two contested races for Montgomery City Council. Tom Cronin and T.J. Wilkerson have won the Montgomery City Council place 3 and 5 seats, respectively, that were up for re-election May 4.

With 100% of election day precincts reporting, Cronin, the incumbent, beat candidate David Brown with 60.48% of the votes. Cronin did not respond for comment election night.

As for Place 3, Wilkerson, also an incumbent, beat candidate Nick Haddad with 105, or 66.76% of the total votes cast.

"With the early voting I didn't know; I guess I'll have to hit the ground running," Wilkerson said election night. "I want to thank the community, the people who supported me. I know we can work together to make Montgomery a better place for everyone to live."
