Republican candidate Philip Cash is the winner of the Montgomery County Precinct 1 constable race over Democratic opponent T. Mack. Cash garnered 30,598 votes, or about 82 percent, with all precincts reporting. Mack garnered 6,709 votes, or 18 percent. All results are unofficial until canvassed.Posted Nov. 8 at 4:05 p.m.

More than 156,800 Montgomery County residents showed their support for their favorite candidates during early voting. Of those early votes, 12,390 votes were from residents of the city of Willis. Two constable candidates, Philip Cash and T. Mack, are running to replace outgoing Constable Don Chumley. Precinct No. 1 covers the Conroe and Willis areas.
