Conroe Industrial Park North is expanding, and Deison Technology Park is expecting its first tenant in 2019.

The latest The Yellow Rose Theatre is expected to break ground early 2019, adding 2,000 seats to Conroe’s entertainment venues. On Dec. 13, the city of Conroe authorized its hotel occupancy tax revenue to go toward a hotel and convention center project along with enhancing sports facilities, intended to boost tourism. Conroe will begin implementing its master plan with sidewalks and street lighting, making the railroad track areas more pedestrian friendly in 2019, and the city plans to lay out the rest of its priorities early in the year.
