Renovations at the AMC Willowbrook movie theater wrapped up in June and include a new AMC Prime theater.[/caption]The renovations at AMC Willowbrook 24 that began at the onset of 2015 finished early June at 17145 Hwy. 249. All auditoriums now feature red leather full recliners, and guests will have the opportunity to reserve specific seats when purchasing tickets online.
The location also features a new prime theater auditorium with a bigger screen, laser projection, better sound quality and vibrating leather recliners. The laser projection system includes enhanced color technology, creating richer, more detailed images, President and CEO Gerry Lopez said. An overhead audio system is meant to help audiences become more immersed in the experience, he said.
