Here are a few events happening in Spring and Klein this weekend, Sept. 13-15.


1. Get outside
Sept. 13-14

2. See a play
Sept 13-15

3. Encourage students to return to school
Sept. 14
Spring ISD hosts its annual Success Walk, during which teachers, administrators, district staff and community volunteers fan out across the district’s boundaries and knock on doors to promote good attendance and encourage students who have either not returned to school or who previously dropped out to re-enroll in school. While the event will kick off at Westfield High School, each SISD campus will have its own Success Walk event community members can participate in. 4. Learn about job opportunities
Sept. 14
The Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce hosts its ninth annual Community Expo & Job Fair featuring more than 100 exhibitors. In addition to a job fair, the event will include taekwondo and cheer demonstrations, raffle items, first responder vehicle tours, a car show and food trucks. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Free. 5. Sip & Shop

Golden Gypsies hosts its Autumn Sip & Shop event featuring a Dian Malouf trunk show, during which attendees can shop jewelry and seasonal decor, while enjoying refreshments. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Sept. 14), noon-4 p.m. (Sept. 15).
