Whether you want to paint an art car, go fishing or practice yoga for free, here are a few things to do in Spring and Klein this weekend, Aug. 23-25.

1. Create a custom doormat
Aug. 23
The Sweetporium and Irish Accents will host a do-it-yourself doormat painting workshop. The event is BYOB, and participants age 15-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Supplies are provided in the event fee, and reservations can be made in advance. 6:30-9:30 p.m. $21. The Sweetporium, 3930 Louetta Road, Ste. C, Spring. 832-764-0396.

2. Go fishing
Aug. 24
Harris County Precinct 4 will host a Family Fish Camp, during which experts will share information on fishing knots; rules and regulations; fish identification; angler ethics; and water and boat safety. During the first half of the day, participants will rotate through various stations, and following lunch, families will get to try out their new fishing skills. 3. Paint an art car
Aug. 24

4. Celebrate Global Climbing Day
Aug. 24

5. Practice yoga for free
Aug. 25
Topgolf and Spring Yoga will host a free, indoor yoga session for yogis of all levels. The event is open for attendees at least 18 years of age and older, and attendees will need to bring a yoga mat.
