1. Slide down Hurricane Harbor Splashtown's new Wahoo Wave, July 12

2. Take a free woodworking class, July 12
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware store hosts a “Logs to Lumber” woodworking demonstration by woodworking expert George Vondriska. The demonstration will cover the following topics: band saw setup, drift compensation, blade selection, shop‐made jig for handling the log, moisture content and air drying the lumber. 5-6:30 p.m. Free. 3. Challenge yourself with adaptive indoor rock climbing, July 12
InSPIRE Rock Indoor Climbing hosts an adaptive indoor rock climbing clinic for persons with limb loss, differences and physical challenges. Only participants with physical challenges need to register for the event. Friends and family do not need an online ticket. 6-8 p.m. Free for persons with physical challenges, $16.95 for others. 5. Attend a teacher's appreciation event at Wal-Mart, July 13
To celebrate teachers, Wal-Mart hosts a teachers-only event with cake, ice cream, cold drinks and photo booths. The first 300 teachers at the store will receive a goodie bag with treats.
