Students of Harmony School of Innovation-Katy’s National Art Honor Society designed and painted a wall mural at the lobby of the Fort Bend County Precinct 3 north annex building. The mural depicts Katy’s history with images of the Fort Bend County seal, rice silos and the MKT locomotive. Attend a public meeting

Both Katy City Council and the Katy ISD board of trustees are hosting public meetings. The council will consider appointing a new police chief, while the trustees will recognize the district’s 100th anniversary and vote to approve items discussed at the Feb. 18 work study meeting. Both meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are free to attend.
