The Texas Department of Transportation has announced the following lane closures planned along Hwy. 290 this weekend. For the most up-to-date information, visit www.my290.com.



Freeway closures
Hwy. 290 eastbound from Hwy. 6/FM 1960 to West Road
• Three outside lanes will be closed nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. through the morning of Friday, Feb. 8.

Hwy. 290 eastbound exit ramp to Loop 610 eastbound
• Total closure from 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
• Drivers can detour to Loop 610 southbound and U-turn at the Woodway/Memorial exit to Loop 610 northbound. The closure also includes two Loop 610 eastbound mainlanes after Hwy. 290.

Hwy. 290 westbound entrance ramp from Mueschke Road
• Total closure until 3 p.m. Friday, May 17.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound from FM 529 to N. Eldridge Parkway
• One inside lane will be closed nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through Sunday, Feb. 3.

Hwy. 6 northbound exit ramp to Jackrabbit/Hempstead Road
• Total closure until 5 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1.

Hwy. 290 eastbound entrance ramp from Hwy. 6/FM 1960
• Total closure nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. through Friday, Feb. 8.





Frontage road closures
Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road connector ramp to Loop 610 eastbound
• Total closure from 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
• Drivers can detour to Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road, U-turn at West 18th Street to the Loop 610 eastbound frontage road and enter Loop 610 eastbound main lanes after TC Jester.

Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road at Huffmeister Road
• One U-turn lane will be closed until 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 19.

Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road at West Road
• One outside lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 28.

Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road at Huffmeister Road
• One U-turn lane will be closed until further notice.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road from Pinemont Drive to. W. Little York Road
• One inside lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 1.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road at Hollister Street
• One U-turn lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 1.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road at W. Tidwell Road
• One U-turn lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 1.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road at Fairbanks N. Houston Road
• One U-turn lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 1.

Hwy. 290 eastbound and westbound frontage road at Gessner Road
• One U-turn lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 1.





Street closures
West Road southbound at Hwy. 290
• Total closure daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 28.
