Attend a fundraiser
Camp Blessing Texas, a Christian camp for children and young adults with special needs and/or disabilities, hosts the fourth annual fundraising gala. See Uncle Kracker in concert
American singer-songwriter Uncle Kracker performs this Friday at The Wildcatter Saloon in Katy. Special guests Blake Harlow and Chris Boise open the concert. Go to a silent disco
The Westin at The Woodlands hosts the Silent Disco event this Friday. Guests will receive a special pair of wireless headphones upon arrival, which can be switched between genres. Visit the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck returns to First Colony Mall this Saturday. This traveling food and merchandise truck, which originally launched at Hello Kitty Con 2014, has driven to New Jersey, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Omaha and more. Listen to traditional country music
Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau and Pearland Town Center host Pearland Opry on the Square, an outdoor concert celebrating Texas Opry and traditional country music. Celebrate Woodforest Craft Fest
Kick off the Woodforest Craft Fest with a "Beer 5K-ish," as they call it, at 11 a.m. Those who don't want to participate in the run can head to the Christine Allen Nature Park from noon-6 p.m. instead. More than 20 breweries will be available, providing craft beer samples to those ages 21 years old and older. Live music includes Louis Adams Band, Travis Lance and Sick Duck. Other entertainment includes a rock wall, pony rides, inflatables, maze, face painting, food trucks and lawn games. Go to a car show for a cause
North Houston Krewzers and City Classic Cars are putting on a car, truck and motorcycle show to benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to wounded service members and their families.
