9 lane closures to know in the Greater Houston area this weekend, July 27-29

I-45 closures
1. All northbound I-45 lanes will be closed nightly from 8:30 p.m.-5 a.m. until Sunday, Sept. 30. Drivers can follow the detour on eastbound 610 to westbound I-10.

2. Three inside I-45 southbound lanes will be closed from 610 South Loop to Howard Drive/Bellfort Avenue from 8 p.m. Friday, July 27 until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 30.





I-10 Closures
3. One outside lane on both eastbound and westbound I-10 will be closed overnight from Washington Avenue to Westcott Street starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, July 29 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 30.





610 South Loop Closures
4. Two inside lanes on both eastbound and westbound will be closed at SH-35/Reveille continuously until 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31.





610 West Loop Closures
5. The southbound Fournace Place exit ramp onto Loop 610 will be closed completely until further notice. Drivers should detour using the Bellaire Boulevard exit.

6. Southbound Post Oak Boulevard exit ramp onto Loop 610 will be closed completely until further notice. Drivers should take the Woodway Drive exit and follow it to Post Oak Boulevard.

7. One southbound inside lane on the frontage road from Woodway Drive to Post Oak Road will be closed until further notice.





Hwy. 290 Closures
8. All eastbound and westbound Hwy. 290 exit ramps between West 34th and Pinemont will be closed Saturday, July 28 from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Take the eastbound detour at Mangum/Dacoma and U-turn or take the westbound detour at Hollister and U-turn.

9. Westbound frontage road from Steepleway to West Road will be completely closed from 9 p.m. Friday, July 27 until 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Drivers should detour right at Steepleway and then left on West Road to the westbound frontage road.
