July 23-27: Celebrate the Summer of Empowerment

July 24: Plan to pay for college at local workshop

July 25: Cypress Assistance Ministries to break ground on new facility


The public is invited to attend a ground breaking for a new headquarters for local nonprofit, Cypress Assistance Ministries. The event takes place at 8:30 a.m. on July 25 at 12925 Cypress N. Houston Road. Once completed, the 27,000-square-foot facility will feature Client Assistance offices, a Food Pantry, GED and ESL classes, Operation Jobs services, Angels’ Attic Resale Store, a Donation Center, and administrative offices. www.cypressassistance.org





July 26: Eat at Texas Roadhouse and support the Special Olympics

The staff of Community Impact Newspaper invites the public to Hot Off the Press on Friday, July 27. July 28-29: Run the Cypress Triathlon
