The Texas Taco, Tequlia and Margarita Festival returns to Old Town Spring, and several area events have Cinco de Mayo festivities planned this weekend. Voting also takes place this weekend in several emergency services districts. Here's what you need to know to plan your weekend in Spring and Klein.


1. See 'Bonnie and Clyde' at Stageworks Theatre, May 4-6

2. View an Old West Melodrama show, May 4-5
Old West Melodrama prsents “Eat, Drink and Be Murdered,” by Tony Schwartz and Marylou Ambrose. Attendees must purchase dinner to attend the show. The audience is invited to participate in the interactive performance.

3. Visit Wet'n'Wild SplashTown on its opening weekend, May 5
Wet'n’Wild SplashTown will open for the season on Saturday. The 48-acre waterpark offers 41 slides, rides and other attractions. Through May 25, the park will be open Friday through Sunday. 4. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with live music, May 5

6. Enjoy the annual Taco, Tequila and Margarita Festival in Spring, May 5-6

7. Vote in local elections, May 5
