A gala celebrating the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts' 10-year anniversary takes place this week, as well as a community garage sale at a church on FM 2920. There is also a book sale fundraiser for the Barbara Bush Library and other events taking place in Spring and Klein this weekend.

Gala celebrates museum's 10th anniversary, March 24
The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts hosts its annual fundraising Pearls of Art Gala with the theme, "The Art of Music.” The event commemorates the museum’s 10th anniversary this year. Honoree Wanda M. Pauling is a long-term supporter of the museum. The event includes dinner, dancing, an auction and live piano music. The museum, located at 6815 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, is undergoing renovations. A party bus will be available to transport guests downtown to the gala. 6:30-11 p.m. $250. Barbara Bush Library book sale, March 24
Copperfield's Books will host a book sale to raise funds for the Barbara Bush Library, which is under construction after sustaining damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.
