With temperatures beginning to rise again, springtime activities are starting up in Spring and Klein. This weekend residents can view art at various locations in Old Town Spring or step out of the area to visit a Harris County Precinct 4 park for a day of fishing. Here are a few ideas to get the weekend moving.

Old West Melodrama returns to Old Town Spring, Feb. 16-17

Enjoy live jazz and Reggae Fest, Feb. 16-17

WORTH THE TRIP: Go fishing at Jones Park, Feb. 17
Join a staff naturalist and fishing instructor certified by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for an introduction to fishing. The course includes instruction on the different types of tackle, rods and reels. Participants can test their skills fishing in Spring Creek.
