There are numerous holiday-themed live theater performances planned in Spring and Klein this weekend as well as wreath-making workshop on Monday.

  1. Winter Wonderland event open to Spring ISD students, Dec. 8

Spring ISD elementary and middle school students and their parents are invited to enjoy an evening of arts and crafts, reading, storytelling and entertainment.  5:30-8 p.m. Free. Dekaney High School cafeteria, 22351 Imperial Valley Dr., Houston.

2. "Willy Wonka" performances begin, Dec. 8-10

3. "A Christmas Story" presented as Live theater, Dec. 8-10

4. Family-friendly play debuts, Dec. 9
Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment hosts Ensemble Theatre's "The Toys Take Over Christmas" is presented at the Mangum-Howell Community Center on Saturday. 5. Wreath-making workshop planned, Dec. 11
A naturalist coordinator with Precinct 4 Trails as Parks leads a hands-on workshop, showing participants how to make natural holiday wreaths out of items found in Dennis Johnston Park.
