Drivers may see delays on Hwy. 249 overnight Thursday, Nov. 30

HCTRA is working to extend the tolled portion of Hwy. 249 between Spring Creek at the Harris-Montgomery county line and FM 2920 in Tomball. The project is estimated to be complete in 2019.

HCTRA is working to extend the tolled portion of Hwy. 249 between Spring Creek at the Harris-Montgomery county line and FM 2920 in Tomball. The project is estimated to be complete in 2019.



According to the Houston TranStar database, the southbound outside lane of Hwy. 249 between Sentinel Oaks and Zion Road is closed nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, to Friday, Dec. 1. Drivers may see delays in Tomball as a result of the lane closure. As of Wednesday evening, Nov. 29, no additional lane closures along Hwy. 249 have been announced.
