Free live music, farmer’s market, Nerf wars; four things to do in Franklin and Brentwood this weekend


For those who are not attending the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, there are plenty of other goings-on in the Franklin and Brentwood area this weekend.

Steven Cade at The Edge

Live music at The Edge inside the Sheraton Hotel runs from 8-10 p.m. Free. Four Points by Sheraton Nashville-Brentwood, 760 Old Hickory Blvd., Brentwood.

Farmer’s market

The East Franklin Farmer’s Market will be open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. 2080 Turning Wheel Lane, Franklin.

Nerf Wars

Bring friends (or enemies) to Mpact Sports for a Nerf gun battle. $10 (participant). 6:30-8:30 p.m. 121 Seaboard Lane, Franklin.

Sun., Sept. 22
2019 Mascot Challenge

Compete in games and drills at D1 Training while coached by mascots from the Predators, Sounds, Vanderbilt and more. Open to kids 5-14 years old. $25. 1-3 p.m. D1 Training, 7115 South Springs Drive, Franklin.
