‘The Latchkey Brigade’

Break out a fancy hat and experience Nashville’s own horse racing extravaganza. Gates open at 8 a.m., first race of the day begins at 1 p.m. Individual tickets start at $75. Percy Warner Park, 2500 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville.

Franklin Mother’s Day Paint & Sip

Learn to create a masterpiece of your own at this Wine & Design event for Mother’s Day. Two seatings are available. At 2 p.m., all ages are welcome and no alcohol is permitted. At 6 p.m., the event is BYOB and attendees under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $50 for 2 p.m. (for two), $35 for 6 p.m. (per person).
