IMPACT ROUND-UP: 7 new businesses opening at Hill Center Brentwood

Several new businesses have opened or will open in the coming months at Hill Center Brentwood, located near the intersection of Franklin Road and Maryland Way in Brentwood. Take a look at what is slated for Phase II of the development.

Now Open
Clean Juice
The new eatery opened in mid-October at 205 Franklin Road, Ste. 170, Brentwood. The smoothie and juice spot offers cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, Greenoa bowls with mixed greens and toppings, smoothies and lattes.

Clean Juice will host a grand opening event Oct. 26.

Coming Soon
Blow-dry styling salon Drybar is slated to open a new location in the Hill Center at 213 Franklin Road, Ste. 100, Brentwood, with an estimated opening date of Oct. 25, according to a company spokesperson.

The 1,450-square-foot location will feature 10 styling chairs, marble bars, built-in phone docking stations and flat screens with movies for customers to watch during their blowout. Blowout options are bar-themed, with options including “The Cosmo,” “The Mai Tai” and “The Southern Comfort.” The location will also offer products from Drybar’s line of styling products.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes
Texas-based eatery MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes will open a location in Hill Center Brentwood at 213 Franklin Road, Brentwood, in spring 2020, according to a news release from H.G. Hill Realty, the leasing company for the development.

The fast-casual eatery offers made-to-order burgers, hand-cut fries and ice cream shakes. MOOYAH operates 73 locations across the U.S., and this will be its first location in Middle Tennessee, according to the release.

The pet store will open in early 2020 in Hill Center Brentwood 225 Franklin Road, Brentwood, according to an announcement from the center’s leasing company. The store offers pet products, food and accessories. This will be the store’s second location in Tennessee, according to a statement from PetPeople CEO Carrie McDermott.

Pure Sweat + Float Studio
The studio will open a new location in December at 213 Franklin Road, Ste. 130, Brentwood, according to owner Meredith Lile. The studio features saunas using infrared heat and floatation therapy to aid in relaxation and pain relief. Pure Sweat + Float Studio also operates locations in Cool Springs and Belle Meade.

Eat the Frog Fitness
The exercise studio will open in 2020 in Hill Center Brentwood at 205 Franklin Road, Brentwood. The studio, founded by 2008 Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay and longtime fitness executive Joe Culver, delivers highly personalized workouts in a studio setting, according to a release from H.G. Hill Realty, the leasing company for Hill Center Brentwood.

The studio is expected to open in the first quarter of 2020.

AC Hotel
A new 90,959-square-foot AC Hotel by Marriott will open in Hill Center Brentwood near Franklin Road and Maryland Way. The 148-room hotel will feature European-inspired decor, modern guest rooms, work spaces, Wi-Fi and a fitness center. AC Hotel also operates a location in downtown Nashville. An opening date has not yet been announced.

The Harpeth Hotel opens in downtown Franklin

The hotel will add 119 rooms and suites to Franklin's historic downtown.

TDOT: No lane closures during Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Nov. 27-Dec. 2

To help cut down on travel delays during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the Tennessee Department of Transportation announced Nov. 25 it will pause all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways.
