The ballot asks voters to consider a $2.5 billion bond referendum, providing funds for flood prevention projects throughout watersheds in Harris County. Registered voters can visit any early voting location in Harris County to cast a ballot during early voting. Tomball ISD board of trustees set to vote on proposed budget, hear security update
The Tomball ISD board of trustees meet for a workshop Monday during which trustees will hear an update on safety and security procedures. A public hearing is also set for Monday in regard to the district’s fiscal year 2018-19 proposed budget. Magnolia City Council set to discuss annexation plan, amended fee schedule, neighborhood empowerment zone
Magnolia City Council meets Tuesday for a public information meeting about a planned wastewater system improvements project as well as a regular meeting following. Magnolia ISD holds Tax Ratification Election
The Magnolia ISD board of trustees will ask voters Aug. 14 to approve a Tax Ratification Election, which would provide the district with more funds for its day-to-day operations without increasing the total tax rate. Zion Road closed at Hwy. 249
Zion Road is expected to be closed Aug. 14-Aug. 21, according to Lone Star College-Tomball information. The closure includes LSC-Tomball’s entrance. However, the Zion Road entrance will reopen in time for the start of the semester.
LSC-Tomball hosts monthly passport processing services
The Lone Star College-Tomball library offers passport processing services for three days each month. Photos can be taken on-site. This service is provided by the Harris County District Clerk’s Office as an alternate processing location.
