Thursday, Oct. 25

1. Celebrate Halloween with Harris County Sheriff's Office
The Harris County Sheriff's Office hosts "Trunk a Treat" in the Tomball District 5 patrol substation parking lot. Trunk a Treat is an annual event for kids to celebrate Halloween in a safe environment and to meet their local patrol deputies. Families are invited to come out, and costumes are optional. 2. Tour a new wedding venue
The Estates at Pecan Park celebrates its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday. An open house that evening features vendors, tours of the facility and food. Tomball's annual Bluegrass Festival celebrates the Americana music genre with performers such as David Davis & the Warrior River Boys, The Coleman Brothers and Vintage Sounds. The Shade Tree Jam, an impromptu jam session of bluegrass and gospel music, takes place in the courtyard of Granny’s Korner.
