Tomball Night: Celebrate 47 years of the annual festival Aug. 2

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce hosts Tomball Night on Aug. 2, featuring vendor booths, children's activities, live entertainment and a fireworks display.

The annual citywide festival celebrates its 47th year of family-friendly fun in downtown Tomball on Aug. 2, hosted by the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce.

Here is a preview of what to expect at Tomball Night this year, according to chamber information.


Schedule of events
Tomball Night begins at 5 p.m. and ends after the fireworks display. Attendees can expect live entertainment, children's activities, food, drinks, vendor booths, shopping specials, giveaways and door prizes. Mystery shoppers will also be all over Tomball. Guests can win $100 by asking the right person, "Are you the mystery shopper?"

  • General event festivities: 5-9:45 p.m.
    Location: downtown Tomball (Commerce, Walnut, Market and Elm streets)

  • Health and wellness expo: 5-8 p.m.
    Location: Tomball Community Center, 221 Market St., Tomball

  • Parade of Lights: 9:15 p.m.
    Route: east on Main Street from Vernon Street to the railroad tracks, then turn left on Peach Street

  • Fireworks: 9:45 p.m.
    Location: The Depot, 201 S. Elm St., Tomball







Parking, admission
Parking and admission are free. Parking will be available at:

  • North Elm Street near the railroad tracks;

  • behind and in front of Tomball City Hall, 401 Market St., Tomball; and

  • along side streets in downtown Tomball.
