March 24

This eighth annual event benefits the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and includes thousands of pounds of crawfish, chicken tender plates, barbecue from Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q, cold beer, live music and children’s activities. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. $15-$35. 2. Texas Crawfish Festival
April 28-29

This 32nd annual event includes crawfish, live country and zydeco music on two different stages, a petting zoo and Gator Country—an alligator theme park.
