  1.  Junior League of The Woodlands Holiday Market
    Nov. 17-19

The Junior League of The Woodlands Holiday Market is a shopping extravaganza event that features a variety of items ranging from flower arrangements and personalized gifts to holiday ornaments. Photos with Santa Claus will also be offered at the event. 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

2. Lighting of the Doves festival
Nov. 18

This 35th annual event features live performances, local vendors, snow play areas, children’s activities, a fireworks display, the lighting of the doves and a appearance by Santa Claus. 4. The Ice Rink opens

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center opens Saturday for the 2017 season in its

5. Family Movie Night

Chick-fil-A at Alden Bridge hosts a family movie night this weekend with the 2004 animated film, “The Polar Express.” The movie will begin when the sun goes down and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
