Despite the chances of thunderstorms, Sugar Land has no shortage of events to fill up Father's Day weekend. There's everything from a Skeeters baseball game to a Slayer concert, so there's something for the whole family. Here's a list of eight things to do in Sugar Land this weekend.

Friday, June 15
Attend a Skeeters game
The Sugar Land Skeeters are playing the Pennsylvania Road Warriors this Friday at 7:05 p.m. with a postgame fireworks show. The Skeeters are 25-18 this season. $8-$55. Constellation Field, 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land. 281-240-4487.   

Grab some grub at Food Truck Fridays
The Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department staff hosts the Summer Concert and Food Truck Fridays Series at the plaza adjacent to Smart Financial Centre. This Friday, Houston-based band Park Avenue will perform live. Enjoy Yanni live in concert

Appreciate fine craftsmanship
Sailesh Singhania hosts a trunk show at Hyatt Place Houston/Sugar Land this Saturday. Watch Sugar Land Superstar

See Slayer live
