Laugh at a Shakespeare play
Katy Theatre is hosting "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" at the Black Box Theatre. Sing along to a musical
If Shakespeare is not your style, then head to Charger Theatre for a performance of "My Fair Lady." Watch international gymnasts compete
Katy's Champion Gymnastics-Texas is hosting the RD761 National Gymnastics Invitational at the Leonard E. Merrell Center. Gymnasts from Australia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan and the United States will compete for the Men’s Jr. International Team Cup. The meet is named after Ricky Deci, a U.S. Junior National Team member who died in 2001. 5 p.m. (doors open both days). Free (ages 0-4), $10 (ages 5-11), $20 (age 12 and older). 301 S. Run, drink beer and fundraise
No Label Brewery is hosting Matt’s Miracle Mini Marathon, a 0.05K beer run to raise money for Katy resident Matt Markiton, who needs a heart, double lung and kidney transplant due to a congenital heart defect. The event will include a raffle, live band and a children’s playground. Markiton and his wife, Audrey, were featured in a Community Impact Newspaper  article in May.
