8 lane closures to know in Cy-Fair this weekend, Oct. 27-29

The Texas Department of Transportation has announced the following lane closures planned along Hwy. 290 in Cy-Fair this weekend, Oct. 27-29:



Freeway closures

 
Hwy. 290 westbound exit ramp to Huffmeister Road

  • Total closure until further notice.


Hwy. 290 westbound entrance ramp from Hwy. 6/FM 1960

  • Total closure until further notice.


Hwy. 290 westbound exit ramp to FM 529

  • Total closure daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 3.

  • Drivers can detour to the next ramp and U-turn.







Frontage road closures

 
Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road from Mueschke Road to the east side of Mueschke Road

  • One inside lane will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.


Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road from Jersey Drive to Jones Road

  • Two outside lanes will be closed continuously until 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29.


Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road from Beltway 8 to Jersey Drive

  • One inside lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 3.


Hwy. 290 westbound frontage road at Jones Road

  • One outside lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30.







Street closures
Jones Road northbound and southbound at Hwy. 290

  • Total closure from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30.

  • Drivers can detour to the frontage road and U-turn.
