District students and employees have a break from classes during the holiday season. Staff members return to campuses Jan. 5 for a professional day, and classes resume Jan. 8 for students.

Children perform in local Christmas pageant

Hwy. 290 frontage roads to reopen near Jersey Village

Two outside frontage road lanes along Hwy. 290 westbound are set to reopen at 5 a.m. Dec. 29 between Jersey Drive and Jones Road. The Texas Department of Transportation continues to work on mainlanes in the area.

Texas All-Star Wrestling brings ‘Crisis in Cypress’
