These seven businesses are expected to open in the coming months in Cy-Fair:

Star Cinema Grill
Nearly two years after Star Cinema Grill first announced it would build a 45,000-square-foot theater in Cypress, officials said they are putting on the finishing touches in preparation for a Nov. 3 opening. The new theater will be located at 8920 Fry Road, Cypress, near the West Road intersection. The theater chain is known for providing full restaurant services to patrons during the movie. The theater will feature Sony 4K digital projection, RealD 3-D technology, state-of-the-art sound systems, luxury recliner seating and large format movie screens. Guests can also eat in a lounge area or order from a 25-seat bar. The bar features wine, craft beer and craft cocktails made in-house. 713-383-7827.

Fajita Pete’s
Fajita Pete’s is set to open Nov. 5 at 8552 Hwy. 6 N., Ste. 400, Houston. Menu items such as fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos, tostadas and nachos will be available for pick-up, dine-in or delivery. The restaurant partners with local schools and organizations to host spirit night fundraising events. 832-328-1404.

Hyatt Place Hotel
A new Hyatt Place Hotel will open Nov. 9 at 19813 Hwy. 290, Houston. The hotel is set to offer a heated outdoor swimming pool, 1,456 square feet of event space, all-day dining and free Wi-Fi. Bookings are now available. 281-955-5070.

Slim Chickens
Slim Chickens is expected to open at 9850 Louetta Road, Houston, sometime in November. The restaurant is known for its chicken tenders, wings, wraps, sandwiches and house sauces.

Juicy Burgers
Officials with Juicy Burgers are aiming to open sometime in November at 12341 FM 1960, Ste. D, Houston. The eatery serves customizable burgers, sandwiches and french fries. Catering options are also available.

Beau Kisses
Beau Kisses plans to open a third location at the Boardwalk this November or December. The boutique offers apparel, jewelry, home goods, baby gifts, Yeti products, Tyler candles and Jon Hart bags, among other items.

Ethel Mae Bacon&Tap
Ethel Mae Bacon&Tap will open at 10750 Barker Cypress Road, Ste. 120, Cypress, by the end of 2017. The restaurant will specialize in Southern comfort food, from pork chops to chicken fried steak, and will also feature a fully stocked bar. 713-367-5177.
