1. Crighton Road railroad upgrade
The city of Conroe awarded a contract Sept. 26 to upgrade the railroad crossing at Crighton Road to the Baytown-based company Greenscapes Six. The project will include the construction of four lanes of concrete, new pavement markings and street signs.

2. FM 2854 widening
A TxDOT project along FM 2854 between Loop 336 and I-45 is 47% complete. The project is set to widen the road to four lanes and will add a curb and median, storm sewers, a bridge, pavement markings and traffic signals.

3. FM 3083 widening
TxDOT is widening FM 3083 into a four-lane and construction-grade separation of the Union Pacific Corp. railroad between Hwy. 75 and FM 1484. The project is 80% complete.
