From county and city meetings to filing application deadline for city elections, here are five things to know in Conroe and Montgomery this week, Feb. 12-16:

1. Montgomery County Commissioners Court gathers Feb. 13

Montgomery County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday morning to discuss and take possible action on various items, including changing an Oak Ridge North polling location for the March 6 primary elections from Robinson Road Community Center to Oak Ridge North Municipal Building.

Commissioners will also consider allowing the Texas Department of Transportation to assume responsibility of the Hwy. 242 flyovers at I-45, which would stop the county from collecting income from vehicles using the tollway. 2. Montgomery City Council meets Feb. 13

Montgomery City Council meets Tuesday evening for its regularly scheduled meeting to discuss and take possible action on numerous agenda items, including entering an interlocal agreement with Montgomery County Emergency Services District No. 2 to share sales tax proceeds and annexation of 3.22 acres in the John H. 3. Willis ISD board of trustees meet Feb. 14

5. Deadline to file for local elections is Feb. 16
